2. I'm a "mature" woman with long, still sort of blond hair, and I'm not sad.

Well, sort of sad about the white hair that's taking over, but in general, not sad, at all.

I think they look very much like mother and daughter.

I think they are mature women with long blond hair who seem very angry. Especially Ms Brewer.

3. I have to sigh. I am not concerned about how they look. I am concerned about how they talk.

Let's do get away from how women in politics look and concentrate on what they are telling us about their party and their views...there is more than enough there to deal with here at DU...

7. It was a casual observation. It struck me the first time I saw Ms Conway

I'm not criticizing their looks - most people would say that they probably both are much more attractive than me. Undoubtedly both are smarter, too. They just don't use their smarts for good.

Bone structure, and all, I think they look very much alike.

Seriously, I'm sorry if I came across in some other way.

11. I'm not angry, I just think we get into dangerous waters when we start talking about how women

in politics look, rather than how they talk and think.

I'm sure that your observation was casual and might have been made about two male spokespersons, so don't take it too personally...I'm not fussing at you!

12. I understand - seriously, it is just a resemblance thing, for me

I have, previously, mentioned the resemblance between Rudy Giuliani and this guy. And perhaps that was a little mean.

I never mean anything by it except resemblance between people fascinates me. I also think it is amazing that more people do not look alike with just 2 eyes, a nose, and a mouth to determine a face. I knew what you meant and agree with you, they do look alike!

Especially Ms Conway. I seriously doubt she believes half of what comes out of her mouth.
