Even if trump admits that the president was born in the U.S.

You cannot sweep away years of leading the birther movement. And then blame Clinton for it. But of course the MSM and the gullible American public will let it slide and move on.

I am saying that even if he says it on tv it doesn't wipe it away. It needs to be an apology and not just a "yes, he was born here, but it is Hillary's fault"

And get away with it. They realize tha the MSM will allow them to get away with it, that his followers (many of whom are birthers) won't care (matter fact, they will start blaming Clinton for them being birthers), and a good portion of the apathetic American electorate won't care either.

They are basically saying that American are gullible.
