The Wrigley Company, (I'm not certain of their exact corporate name), has nothing to do with the meme. In fact, their public statement points out that they won't comment further because it would seem like they were marketing their product. Remember, public corporations generally avoid controversy because it alienates customers.

The use of "Skittles" by white supremacists has nothing to do with the candy company. It's all about racism and is connected to the murder of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.

Both of them they let slide. I know there are others but there has been so much that I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I am not sure if the media is unaware of it or they are afraid to touch it.
