Romney’s Bus Tour Hits Speed Bump, Reroutes Due to Protesters

The Romney bus tour hit a speed bump today when more than a hundred protesters showed up at a gas station where the presumptive GOP presidential candidate was scheduled to make a stop, and the candidate’s motorcade quickly rerouted to another location just three miles away.

(snip)
According to local reports, Rendell, along with 150 to 200 anti-Romney protesters, had shown up at the original gas station to tout Obama’s message, speaking ahead of when Romney was scheduled to arrive.

But a Romney campaign official said they were prepared for the disruption and that the re-routing was not a spur-of-the-moment decision.

until the bus STOPS...then surround the bus and do some chanting--and make sure there are people with cameras!

It was a good turn out. We had an airplane with a banner and a car driving around with a fake dog strapped to the roof. Three news vans.

R/money punked out and did not show. No announcement, no apology, nothing but a punk no show.

How can we trust him with national security when he is afraid of the voters?

Appearing with the Governor and Paul Ryan. Should be a nice crowd to meet the fascist regime.
