Imagine being abducted and whisked away to a cell where you spend the next several months or years without charge or conviction.

Then prison authorities instruct a group of drug-addicted criminals to use violence to restrain you as you are made to give a urine sample and subjected to invasive medical procedures.

What got me was the dichotomy of the rich flocking to the purposely built hospitals to receive their new organs from those robbed from the bodies of the victims the gov't subjected to torture and death for many when a match was found. I used to work on Organ Transplant claims with a major insurer, and I wonder how many of the ultra-rich or gov't employed Chinese/foreigners who receive these organs know or even care they were robbed out of the bodies of others who did not consent?

Us poor folks often have it very rough as it is, as I know all about not being cared about by wealthy relatives, but to the homeless or those that are charged with crimes - I couldn't imagine having this occur, though you know as well as I do, many rich people wouldn't want to know or even care that their loved one received organs from a person who was tortured and killed for it...

2. Please quit picking on China

They are a quasi-socialist nation that serves as a counter to American imperialism in East Asia. As progressives we have an obligation to support anyone and everyone who stands up to the U.S.

Whatever they are doing, I am sure they have a solid reason. For example, the Falun Gong terrorists represent a major threat to Chinese cultural and economic security. Why just execute them and let their useful internal organs go to waste?



(BTW, PLEASE tell me that NO ONE here shares this opinion. But I am afraid that there are some who do.)

3. Oh, there's always one who will

And I can't post it right now, but there's an article about the need to prepare for the eventual downfall of North Korea, and how the people are dying of starvation in and out of prisons, mass torture and assault. Just stunning how people allowing dictators to slowly assume power eventually ends in the country collapsing, time and again.
