QUESTION: Why would any of the LEOs take OFF their gloves to touch a bloody body?
That's one thing that makes little sense right now
Thx in advance for your input on this question
P.S. - Also, the CPD has been circulating a picture of what they're claiming is a gun at the feet of Scott.... in the video shown recently there's no gun at the feet of Scott.
Just to be clear

(14,400 posts)especially if your hands are sweaty putting them on. I used to double up if I didn't have to do anything that required a delicate touch just because if I lost the ones against my hands I had one hell of a time getting a new set on.

(14,400 posts)but I'm no expert in that. I'd expect you'd need to be pretty good at handwashing to actually clear it.

(111,255 posts)including lapel mounted communication. They also get damned uncomfortable after they've been on for a while and your hands are drowning in sweat. Also, he might have been finished with his preliminary examination, the rest of the exam to be done by the ME.
I don't think we can see what's going on very clearly. A jury will watch this video one still image at a time on a very large monitor.
"Kick possession" or not, this man did not have to die. All those cops had to do was listen to his wife, bring her in to the situation to talk him out of the car peacefully. That they didn't bother is the criminal part of this whole thing.

(14,400 posts)It seems cops have really gone onto a shoot first mentality in this country. In so many cases the guy didn't have to die.

If you are carrying more than one pair in a pouch it's easy to pull more than you need out, and you don't take time to put a 2 cent glove back in a pouch you toss it down.
Quit digging deep for conspiracy theories to try and avoid the most logical explanation for events, even if that explanation isn't what you would like it to be.

To take a pair of gloves off and not replace them does not make sense.

(50,270 posts)No one with any common sense touches a bloody body without gloves if they have gloves available.

(90,336 posts)... gloves on RIGHT after they shot the unarmed person.
Also, in NC people can carry a gun... don't know why Scott here was targeted... a lot about this situation doesn't line up positively for the CPD
Vinca
(50,270 posts)I still haven't gotten an answer about why they were bothering this guy in the first place. It seems he was in his truck just minding his own business waiting for his wife.
