the only coach to take them to a Super Bowl victory. He's in the football Hall of Fame and extremely well known among even casual football fans. He's done several t.v. commercials over the years and is included, at least once, and parodied in the well known SNL skit "Da Bears."

As an avid Packer football fan, when he first came out a couple of years ago spouting racism about President Obama I was completely shocked! I still am quite honestly, and now this. He's definitely part of the hippie hating, America, love it or leave crowd from way back, but for me, this adds a new layer of ugly. My first thought was that he has brain issues. Mike Ditka was a football player and a football coach. Most if not all other jobs he had were football related. He did not become successful through hard work alone.
