Donald Trump Called a Female Journalist the C Word to Her Editor Over a Story He Never Read

http://www.politicususa.com/2016/09/29/donald-trump-calls-female-journalist-word-editor-story-read.html

Donald Trump is making headlines for his misogynistic abuse of the winner of 1996’s Miss Universe Pageant, Alicia Machado.

Sadly she is hardly alone in getting the Donald Treatment. Donald Trump consistently verbally abuses women.

Jennifer Lin, a former financial correspondent in New York City for The Philadelphia Inquirer, wrote Thursday morning about the time Donald Trump called her the c word — to her editor — in retaliation for a story of hers that he never actually read. This is such typical Trump it burns.

First Trump called Lin and screamed at her, peppering her with the word “sh*t” to describe her writing. (It turned out he had never actually read her story so he was calling it “sh*t” for no reason.)....more

many many women and girls, who feel empowered to not put up with this crap any more. Females deserve to be treated as full human beings, not 2nd class children, who are less than men by virtue of gender.

I'm sure it will be for the long term a great thing.

However, I think the initial reaction will be the Tea Party types repaint their signs and replace the N---- word for Obama with the B---- and C--- word for Clinton

origin of the word. and it confuses the hell out of the people who use it to try to upset me that it does not. however, I will not let anybody use it against another woman (ask the last guy who did that to a friend of mine)

C is for Cunt

While the world is only just coming to terms with saying the word vagina out loud, cunt remains a term that takes people’s breath away as they cringe at the sheer power it contains. Pushed underground, banished from conventional language, cunt has long since been appropriated by patriarchs and misogynists and used as an utterance that disgusts or insults in the worst possible way. But cunt has not always been the most taboo word around. IT WAS ORIGINALLY A TERM USED TO REVERE THE WISDOM OF WOMEN, IN PARTICULAR, THE WISDOM OF HER GENITALS. IN PRE-AGRARIAN DAYS, CUNTS WERE TACITLY CELEBRATED AS PURVEYORS OF PLEASURE AND KNOWLEDGE. (EMPHASIS MINE)

. . . . . .

When we look to the etymology of the word cunt, it has a much more celebratory and empowering origin than vagina. Etymologist Eric Partridge, writes in his book A Charm of Words that the the prefix “cu” is an expression of “quintessential femininity,” confirming “cunt” as truly a woman’s term. Tony Thorne, in his Dictionary of Contemporary Slang writes; “The synonymy between ‘cu’ and femininity was in place even before the development of written language: In the unwritten prehistoric Indo-European languages ‘cu’ or ‘koo’ was a word base expressing ‘feminine’, ‘fecund’ and associated notions.” Matthew Hunt, who draws from the above writers in his offerings on the history of cunt, says that the Proto-Indo-European “cu” is also cognate with other feminine/vaginal terms, such as the Hebrew “cus;” the Arabic “cush,” “kush,” and “khunt;” the Nostratic “kuni” (woman); and the Irish “cuint” (cunt). He goes on to say that the word cunt is inherent in many goddess’s names such as the Indian goddess Kunt and the energy force known as Kundalini.

. . . . .

Furthermore, while the word vagina implies a singular orifice for organ, cunt speaks of the textured nature of female genitals and includes the vulva, clitoris, labia and canal. Cunt speaks of the multidimensionality of women’s sexual pleasure–not just the sheath in which a man can thrust his erection. It denotes a sexuality that is rooted in pleasure and orgasm, not one denied orgasm by patriarchal doctrine.

I believe that the word cunt has to be dug up and given a good historical dusting so that the beauty, force and power of the word is reinstated into the feminine discourse. When women finally reclaim and speak this word, its full potential will be released and women will repossess their collective cunt-power and rise up against misogyny and patriarchy with the absolute intent of ending it.

Here's the link from the Philly paper where the reporter worked. It's more detailed. Read over the comments at your own risk.

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/politics/presidential/20160930_The_time_Trump_called_a_female_Inquirer_reporter_the_worst_word_possible.html

It was the tail end of Monday night's presidential debate, and Hillary Clinton was going after Donald Trump for the way he speaks about women - how he'd called them pigs, dogs and slobs. How he'd berated a former Miss Universe winner for gaining weight.

The charge struck former Inquirer staff writer Jennifer Lin, who was watching from home. She knows something about Trump's vitriol towards women, she said: She's been on the receiving end of it.

Nearly 30 years ago, the Republican presidential candidate, incensed over an Inquirer story about his casinos, called her in her New York office, said she had "s- for brains" and said she worked for "a s- newspaper," Lin said.

Then he called her editor and referred to Lin as "that c-," Lin said.
