Other than Trump, of course.
For me, it's easy - John McCain. It's always driven me crazy how he's been able to convince people that he's some kind of reformer, or that he's in any way an independent thinker. His voting record has always been as extreme as any tea party nutjob, and he has no problem abandoning any reformist instincts at the drop of the hat. And worst of all, he gave the world Sarah Palin; a stain that should never be erased from his record.
Recognizing that it's still a longshot to get rid of McCain, I'd also be thrilled to see Rubio go. And if that doesn't happen, seeing the end of Ron Johnson's and Kelly Ayotte's political careers will be just as good.

(937 posts)Rep. Issa has never won a House race by less than 16 points, but he is currently trailing his Democratic challenger Doug Applegate by 4 points. A big reason for Issas slide is located at the top of the ticket. Mitt Romney carried Issas district by six points in 2012, but Hillary Clinton is leading Californias 49th Congressional District by 14 points over Donald Trump.

(81,467 posts)I have a list... and fucking Issa is riggt up at the top. He's been a big stinky blot on California's reputation for far too long. It is WAY past time that voters finally get rid of him!!! Then Toomey, the pathetic Kelly Ayotte, and Marco Rubio - who never even bothered to show up to do his job the first time around! Kirk should actually step down NOW so Tammy Duckworth can get an early start. And Roy Blunt - I hope he's shown the door. Good-BYE!!!
I also hope John McCain gets a nice comfortable relaxing retirement starting in January.
I'd love to see Paul Ryan get the heave-ho too but perhaps that's too much to dare hope for.
And I want Russ Feingold to get his job back, too!

(9,527 posts)It would be fitting to have him voted out as Clinton is voted in.
If he were up this cycle, I'd vote for Inhofe being my personal favorite. Sadly neither of them have anything to worry about.

(2,004 posts)These two get votes from people who have no idea that they have worked against the interests of working people their entire careers. Portman helped Bush export American jobs to China and Stivers was a bank lobbyist before he was basically given a nicely gerrymandered district, in order to further enrich his banker friends.
Ted Strickland could still win if the national party and some good donors came up with a couple of really hard hitting ads explaining what a lying weasel Portman is. If the national party does not go after this creep now, they will be facing him in the next presidential contest. I have seen talking heads already promoting Portman as the face of the rebuilt rethug party.
There are tens of thousands of voters that are going to vote for Hillary that have not decided whether to vote for Ted thanks to the millions of dollars of Koch money spent on advertising against Ted. A good late ad buy would swing these people to Ted. They have seen the Koch ads and are just confused since there has been no real ads buys supporting Ted. He would make a good senator.

But would love a a clean sweep especially Blake Farenthold (Rubber duckie pj's boy). Bad part about it here is a lot of districts don't even have a democratic contender.

Oh - and the catering to Happy Shiny Jesus People in TN, AR, MS, etc etc during the shutdown showed he doesn't work for the NJ 7th. Our livelihoods were on the line and he slithered on his belly to selfish jackasses who think Obama is a Kenyan Muslim.
