UNL prof from China detained

LINCOLN (AP) - University of Nebraska-Lincoln officials say a Chinese citizen who has been teaching at the Nebraska school has been detained by Chinese authorities.

UNL officials say Weixing Li is an assistant business professor who had accompanied students on a study-abroad trip. The students last saw him earlier this month, after the four-week program ended.

UNL officials have talked to Li's relatives, who say Li remains in Chinese custody.
