Getting money from speeches is not fucking illegal or even fucking unethical and the 66m is already public in their god damn taxes
It may be outrageous to you that someone gets paid that much, but that's your problem
Îm reporting what I read on daily kaos, these people purporting to be sanders supporters said sanders was right blah blah blah and then I saw your rant the money for speeches which is more of the same basically
So spare me your grand standing
I didn't say all Sanders voters were like that but there is about 10% that enrages

(3,226 posts)"Pressed on whether the Clinton Foundation should have clamped down on foreign donations before Clinton became secretary of state, Carville responded, "If you ask me as a political adviser, of course."
The Clinton Foundation does great work but I agree that politicly it has become a problem. Like when Bill went on board the Attorney General's plane uninvited right before the FBI report on the email server, while not illegal politicly it look bad, one more of the many times Bills actions have not helped our cause.

You dislike Bill Clinton so you believe everybody dislikes him, contrary to evidence otherwise.
You're predisposed to believe anything negative about Bill and Hillary Clintons whether it is factual or not. You believe any negative spin by these obviously bad actors is 'fact.'
-----
What Is a Confirmation Bias?
A confirmation bias is a type of cognitive bias that involves favoring information that confirms previously existing beliefs or biases. For example, imagine that a person holds a belief that left-handed people are more creative than right-handed people. Whenever this person encounters a person that is both left-handed and creative, they place greater importance on this "evidence" supporting their already existing belief. This individual might even seek "proof" that further backs up this belief while discounting examples that do not support this idea.
Confirmation biases impact how people gather information, but they also influence how people interpret and recall information. For example, people who support or oppose a particular issue will not only seek information that supports their beliefs, they will also interpret news stories in a way that upholds their existing ideas and remember things in a way that also reinforces these attitudes.
Examples of Confirmation Biases in Action
Consider the debate over gun control. Sally is in support of gun control. She seeks out news stories and opinion pieces that reaffirm the need for limitations on gun ownership. When she hears stories about shootings in the media, she interprets them in a way that supports her existing beliefs.
Henry, on the other hand, is adamantly opposed to gun control. He seeks out news sources that are aligned with his position, and when he comes across news stories about shootings, he interprets them in a way that supports his current point of view.
The Impact of Confirmation Biases
A number of experiments conducted during the 1960s demonstrated that people have a tendency to seek information that confirms their existing beliefs. Unfortunately, this type of bias can prevent us from looking at situations objectively, can influence the decisions we make, and can lead to poor or faulty choices.
During an election season, for example, people tend to seek positive information that paints their favored candidates in a good light while looking for information that casts the opposing candidate in a negative light. By not seeking out objective facts, interpreting information in a way that only supports their existing beliefs, and only remembering details that uphold these beliefs, people often miss important information that might have otherwise influenced their decision on which candidate to support.

(3,226 posts)I for years have had issues with Bill, you and others may like him I do not need anyone to confirm my belief that Bill's actions have not always helped Hillary or our party. I believe that Hillary will make a great POTUS I fully support her, we can not undo what Bill has done in the past I just hope he stays out of the way for the next 2 weeks

We are still being lead by the super rich. Somehow humans still believe that only rich people can govern.
There's no avoiding this with our current laws.

I stopped watching those monkey's Mika & Joe throwing feces YEARS ago. And currently, I'm too busy that early in the morning still phone banking in time zones 3 hours ahead of my own trying to make sure Democrats get out to vote for Hillary/Tim to watch Morning Ho. You'd think that dumb as a bag of hammers Joe would by now have shown some remorse about that DEAD intern in his office he was dating, or that bobble-headed Mika would be worried about her image as being seen as his now divorced side-piece but alleged married side-piece a few years ago. As for the CGI thing, I don't believe ANYTHING coming from Wikileaks, or from the rapist hold up in an Ecuadoran embassy Assange whose out there hawking stolen emails which he hopes will turn the election for his bromance tRump. Secondly, you have a foreign entity in Russia whose ex-KGB agent is interfering in OUR elections and at the very least hoping to that the big, dumb, bloated, insane, lying, racist, misogynistic monkey's ass elected so he (Putin Tang), can pretty much run rough-shod all over Europe and do as he pleases. His grifting buddy tRump--whose not a billionaire at all--would love to use the USA as his giant slush fund (Like he does his foundation) to pay back the Chinese & Russian Oligarchs the billions in any way he CAN that he owes them because he can no longer get money loaned to him by the USA because he's such a horrible lending risk
Yeah break over. Let me get back to and finish my phone banking for today ....

I don't have cable TV. Tried Direct TV for about two weeks several years ago. I haven't watched TV much since the broadcast signal went digital in 2009. I don't even have a TV. I have a TV tuner card on my pc, so I can catch the occasional ball game or Olympic event. Whenever I see the TV news at my Mom's house, or elsewhere, it's like WWF or the Hunger Games.

I hope that tomorrow they have an expert on to clarify HOW MUCH the Foundation GIVES AWAY! Joe was disparaging the work it did in Haiti. I didn't see him stepping up and starting a foundation to help places like Haiti.
Today was lower than the usual. Joe doesn't know how ugly he has gotten.
I hope he's taking his meds come January when HRC is sworn in as our next POTUS...
