So Nervous for the Election

Last edited Sat Nov 5, 2016, 06:18 AM - Edit history (1)

And Im NOT even American.

The whole world is watching.

On one hand, we might get one of the smartest hardest working people to be ever involved
in politics in Hillary Clinton.

On the other, we will get someone who will cause so much suffering and heartbreak and hate,
I shudder to think about it.

surely Clinton will win easy, and its just the MSM, trying to create an illusion it will be close for
tv ratings.

but I don't like Nate Silver's article stating that the blue firewall may have been breached with New Hampshire going into the toss-up category again. I'm so ticked off about it that I'm about to vote using the names of my cats.

I think we are all going to be amazed and somewhat touched by what our country is about to do.

And the whole worlds opinion of America will be so different depending on who gets in.

Clinton gets in, the world will say well done, the USA has done the right thing.

Trump gets in, and there wont be country that will respect the USA and its people.

realizes that many of us put up a huge fight and tried our best for months and months. We've had obstacles including interference by the Russian government, Wikileaks, and even our own FBI. Not to mention some of the MSM who've done a horrible job in their coverage by creating false equivalencies, not countering flat-out lies by Trump and his accomplices, and giving tons of free coverage to Trump as well. Some journalists/pundits have been outstanding, but many are pretty much worthless.

And we are clinton fans, we are saying the USA voting for Clinton is the USA saying
no to racist bigots, like trump.

I am a nervous wreck..checking 538 several times a day. Watching MSN whenever I can....somebody please answer this...they are telling us that Ohio has picked the pres. Winner since 1896 or something like that. She might not win Ohio. Somebody make some sense for me. Here in FLORIDA I think she is leading no matter what the polls say.

Ohio is not that important in this election for Hillary, although it is a "must have" for Trump. There are numerous ways she can win without it, none for him. All things change, and Ohio's importance in national politics is waning (more so next census, when they reapportion congress critters). That said, the polls may be wrong--there is some evidence they are undercounting the Latino vote here. And I think you're right about Florida.

However, for your own sake, stop checking fivethirtyeight more than once a day and check out http://election.princeton.edu/

Where I'm at in Florida in a historically voting Dem county..there certainly are alot of trump yard signs..I guess that's where they spent their money. Ive got my eye on Hillsborough County..they say as it goes so goesvthe state of FL. Early voting shows more Dem ballots cast there......we'll see I guess. I need to calm down...I so remember the 2000 election...not in a good way. I'm really afraid of trump destroying our country.
