AM Joy: Malcolm Nance, Kurt Eichenwald - NATO Allies apoplectic about Trump / Putin links. FBI, not.

AM Joy just had on Kurt Eichenwald, Malcolm Nance and one other man (looking for name) who was former FBI, discussing what the FBI knows about Russian link. Anti-Clinton faction within FBI? Well, remember that half of the FBI is "gumshoe agents" investigating crimes and othe half is counterintelligence. Our allies already know Putin interfered in numerous other European elections, and they know that some of our agents are "dirty", and they are passing on information to US intelligence about it. Our allies have their "hair on fire" over Trump. But FBI doesn't seem to care about Putin connection. Would they follow up on Putin interference in our election? "I hate to say this but I think it would depend on whose desk it lands on."

An interesting segment. I will watch it again once I find a link.



Interestingly, in spite of the caption, the story is more about US officials NOT warning of Russian interference... but US allies are warning us, and they have intelligence showing it.

In the meantime, the CIA may be very interested in it, since the foreign intelligence agencies have been telling us, "hey, this is happening" but apparently they are more professional than the leader of the FBI.

5. Unlike the email nonsense, this scenario is a scandal of far reaching national security concerns.

From the fact that the FBI has engaged in the release of information designed to influence the election, to their apprent indifference to foreign actors engaged in cyber attacks against our country (only because it's been happening to the Dems), it is clear that the FBI is operating in a fashion that's detrimental to the health and security of this nation.
