5.3 earthquake in Oklahoma felt all over Kansas 7:45 pm 11/6

I have felt little quakes before, but this time it was very strong. It was over 150 miles away and yet in my building (we are on the 2nd to top floor) it shook like when you build a toy tower too tall and it shakes before it falls.

That is what it felt like.

I can not imagine what it felt like at the site of the actual quake

It is from natural underground salt water that is pumped up with the oil, then put back down in the well at a deep level ( so as not to contaminate the fresh water aquifer )

my friends in Norman were also talking about it on Facebook. It didn't feel as strong as others, but some people said it felt much stronger.

I was worried.

My doggie didn't like it either. He jumped up and started bark-crying

and I live in Tornado country-in fact, my sister and her hubby lost their home to a tornado this past July.

At least with tornadoes, you have some sort of warning.

There is no warning at all with these quakes.

Living in a high-rise could have a lot of drawbacks if these quakes keep growing.
