5. Hah! I can relate.

I've never been accused of being petite, not even as a kid. My brothers have always towered over me, and now my nephews do as well. I've had to learn to remove my glasses before they hug me; otherwise, the frames push into my nose and the arm by the hinge gets bent. At my younger brother's wedding, with me and the bride in very high heels so we looked like we belonged with the groom and best man (who was a couple inches taller than my brother), at one point the preacher jumped up and down a couple times, saying that he was just trying to see if the congregation was still there. I've tried to blame them for the crummy vertebrae in my neck, seeing as how I've always had to tilt my head back to look up at them; they ain't buying it, though. The look on Hillary's face reminds me of when Dad hired a temp housekeeper; when she met my brother she laughed and asked him, "You got squirrels living in that tree?"
