Republicans hit back by sending reporters a snippet from a March 2007 interview in which Obama's condemned the Bush Administration's use of executive privilege "every time there's something a little shaky that's taking place" and urging that administration to "come clean."

It's shades of "Disco" Danny Burton of the 90s...I'm just surprised its taken Issa this long to push the administration to issue some kind of Executive Privilidge.

This is the old rushpublican game of guilt by assumption and conspiracy. You create poutrage and a phony controversy and then push the administration and hope to embarass it and generate headlines. Few people will know this scandal has roots going back to 2004 or what the documents in question are...its all political theater that the cables are eating up. They can't wait for a "cat fight" to break out in that conference hearing.

We know that even if Holder turned over the documents in question it wouldn't be enough...the goal post would move and this circus will go on...
