I would prefer to be in a dead heat or even behind at this point rather than ahead. 13 points ahead will bring complacently. A dead heat or slightly behind brings urgency. Plus it is the electoral college which is what really matters. When I took political science in college I did a project showing possible ways a candidate could win a decent majority of the popular vote and still lose the election. It has been years, so I don't remember my exact combination, plus it took the "perfect storm" of winning or losing certain states by certain amounts but if I remember I showed that "theoretically" a candidate could win by 20% of the popular vote and still lose the election.

They undersampled whites by 5 percent in the poll. He is having a not so good June. But he will come back this fall.

If our media truly were liberal - the tea party ass clowns would have been laughed out of office and Fox News wouldn't exist, and Obama would be winning in an absolute landslide.
