Am saying it: We LOSE because we *ARE* soft!1 Wingnuts send gutter fighters

They send street fighters, ATWATER, KKKarl, Roger STONE - the SCUM OF THE EARTH.

And we go for the "higher ground." Some of us claim to be "better than that."

NO, all of humans are a mixture of *EVERYTHING* good and bad.

My 69 years is of mostly NOBLE LOSING - Adlai, CARTER, MONDALE, GORE, KERRY, and Hil.

We're always better than they are - smarter, nobler, idealistic

Yet here we are (A- FUCKING- *AGAIN*!1)

I saw the moment when it was over: When DRUMPF growled at Hil and said, "Because you'd be in jail." And she flinched.

(This does NOT cancel out all the Russian crap.)

*******Please, flamers, just don't.

I'm not shocked with all the DRUMPF daily shenanigans. Am NUMB/neuropathy of the spirit, getting used to at least 4 years of COMPLETE DISPIRITEDNESS.

1. Often fire has to be fought with fire. LBJ knew that, for one example. n/t

3. THAT'S TRUE! I'm not sure what it is, politness, trying to be fair, or something else, but

think back in history, as far back as you can. Do you ever remember a real fighter in the Dem Party? The closest I can recall is Lyndon Johnson, and YES, the people in Congress WERE# afraid of him!

4. Better add Comey's name in there as he's the biggest reason for this one.

7. exactly why their minority held our majority in checkmate

and stopped everything
and yelled that nothing was happening
and people heard that Washington was gridlock and nothing worked
republicans yelled
Democrats shrugged and "assumed" that people would notice that they weren't doing the things that they were accused of
Newsflash.
People didn't pay attention.
You have to show up and speak up.
Democrats don't do that very well.

8. It's a dog fight

Republicans are like the snarling, scalded, snapping, biting, angry doberman. Democrats are like a cocker spaniel who rolls over for the burglar with its tail wagging waiting for a belly rub.

9. Wasted opportunity

Reagan painted the democrats as big spenders and attacked them for running up the deficit even though he wound up tripling it.

Obama failed to pin Iraq and the financial meltdown on the GOP so they were able to bounce back and win congress and eventually the White House.

I feel fairly certain Trump will run up the debt and have a recession. Will democrats waste the opportunity??

10. Uh .....

"I feel fairly certain Trump will run up the debt and have a recession."

YUP.....

"Will democrats waste the opportunity??"

And YUP. MOST Dems will do as they always do: Sit back and take it when tRump blames THEM for the recession that HE/thuglicans start.

One thing though: The press--news/print--are all mostly up in tRump's ass, so they'll be cheer-leading for tRump as well, so the Dems will REALLY be up against it. We also KNOW how low-info these tRump voters ARE and they'll go along with their boy in blaming Dems/Pres. Obama, and if those things weren't bad enough, the thuglicans under a tRump DOJ will roll voting rights back even further in Red states where Dems live and won't even try to investigate reports of voter suppression/disenfranchisement.

So, HOW are Dems to vote thuglicans out of office, and even those who turn ON tRump a few years from now when they might not even be able to vote due to voter suppression? The media doesn't care, because all they care about is how much in ratings they can bring in. To HELL with fact-checking or with calling tRump out. How do we KNOW who tRump will be allowing to hack into our elections 2-4 years from now?

The Dems and those who are against tRump/GOP may be in some T..R..O..U..B..L..E..
