Perish the thought, but it was OK for Joe Wilson to yell out and call Pres Obama a liar.

but there is little recourse against a member of Congress for doing so. There could be a censure for breaking the rules of decorum, but such a censure would be very unlikely.

However, Democrats are not prone to such outbursts. Republicans go low. Democrats traditionally go higher.

Notably, Joe Wilson is still representing SC's 2nd Congressional District in the House. So much for consequences.
