Mitt and his Hispanic ties

Last edited Thu Jun 21, 2012, 08:51 PM - Edit history (1)

Mitt's dad George was born in Mexico at the Mormon compound founded by his grandfather Miles Park Romney who had four wives.
So how many great-grandmas does Mitt have? Polygamy makes the math tough.
So when Mitt talks immigration, he has some knowledge, in reverse.
Edit to say: I guess my point here is that the history of the Romney polygamy compound in Mexico may not sit well with the Hispanic vote.

If his great-grandfather had four wives, then he has... four great grandmas? The math isn't hard at all.

Not sure what the point of this post is...

The four are from his great granddads side only. So I am confused.

left America for Deseret, and then when Deseret became Utah they went (on Brigham Young's orders) to Mexico, from which they were later driven out by revolution.

Reluctant Americans, let's call them.
