Instead of a Cabinet made up of climate deniers and predatory capitalists, who would Clinton have picked? That could be an interesting exercise.

In a parliamentary system of course, Clinton would have picked a shadow Cabinet.

But a shadow Cabinet at least allows a voter to see what an alternative could look like.

with hope and optimism, not dread and dismay. we wouldn't be numb with disgust at yet the latest bs coming from the orange foolius or his people. we wouldn't need to be explaining to our friends overseas how in the hell this utterly incompetent, disgusting pretend human is about to sully the people's house.

And the rethug house and senate would already have the impeachment papers ready on day one. It really would be a no win. But I would feel much safer knowing Hillary was our president. I feel doom and gloom everyday and my future feels like I know dread is coming. I am usually an optimistic person and hate feeling so pessimistic.

Hillary won nearly million more votes than the other guy. In most countries, she would be president-elect. In the U. S., her victory gets swept under the rug, like so many women's accomplishments.

the "what we can do" to fight this illegitimate presidency about to befall our great nation. Hillary is still the first female POTUS in my mind whose presidency was stolen by the most horrific man and his ilk. The election is over, and this is isn't time to sulk. We need to band together and FIGHT!

Hillary is from the Democratic Party that's been running since her husband took office. And before you think I'm being critical or nasty let me tell you that it would be infinitely better for this country if she had won.

On the other hand, I'm a Progressive. I want to see issues like Climate Change, mitigating world hunger and peace being issues to actively work towards.

It hasn't even started.

I was just down to visit my parents recently, and they're liberal, but their goddamned friends are all homophobic tRump supporters. That is the LAST time I'll go to my parents'. . . .EVER. They don't get it. They don't understand why I have an issue with homophobes & tRump supporters, and they just don't get why I don't want to be around them. . . "You only have to be around them for one evening!"

Well. . . Even ONE second is too much when we're talking about mother fuckers who want to take my rights, my friends' rights, and my community's rights away.

This time I'm holding my ground. I have ZERO tolerance for these people, and I don't ever plan on being in the same room with them again. I am done.
