I can only have so much ire at one time.


My ire is targeted at Donald Trump and the xenophobia, nativism, racism, and misogyny he represents and the Deplorables who installed him in office. The Saturday after the election I dragged my old ass to Los Angeles City Hall to protest his (s)election. It was glorious. There were people from all walks of life including Native Americans in their traditional garb to young middle class Asian mothers with their children in strollers.

Donald Trump and Trumpism represents a unique kind of evil. It is the political equivalent of a pestilence

I defer to nobody in my defense of Secretary Clinton. I made that abundantly clear in the primaries and the general election. But this internecine warfare has to stop. The election is over. There are vulnerable people who are depending on us; the undocumented worker and his family who have been here for years and have led productive and exemplary lives, the Muslim family who has been here for generations and fully embraces our values, our lgbtq brothers and sisters who can lose their hard earned rights to a reactionary Supreme Court, the poor and working class people who will lose their health insurance if the Affordable Care act is repealed. We can't help them if we are fighting among ourselves.It's a form of narcissism.



All people of good will, left , right, and center need to band together to fight this plague.

I can fight Trump, and fight for the survival of my party. I've been watching the party lose a lot of elections lately up and down the ticket. If this trend continues, there won't be any party left to oppose the Trumps of the future.

The party is in the worse shape it's been in decades. We didn't get there in one election, and ignoring the facts isn't going to fix anything.
