1. Repealing and not effectively replacing ACA will accomplish two very important agenda

items for the GOP.

1. Punish Obama voters, punish them for electing the bad, scary black man, TWICE

If you really read between the line the GOP wants a country that is only for the wealthy to enjoy. The rest of the population is just economic chattel. If you look at ALL their policies it is hard to conclude otherwise.

5. It's actually a bit more basic than that...

A big part of the ACA is that it imposes big taxes on the wealthy, including excise taxes on "Cadillac" insurance policies. Repealing it is a tax break for the 1%.

Then, of course, there is the whole privatization thing, where anything that the government does that might be a revenue stream for a business must be eradicated, and if a company cannot make a profit doing it, then it is not worth doing. Healthcare is just the most recent BIG THING they are going for. In the extractive industries, for example, I've heard from RW nuts who won't be happy until Yellowstone is strip mined for the coal underneath it.

Actually, it's not the "legacy" they are trying to destroy. They want to destroy all of the concrete improvements that have been instituted over the last 8 years.

6. The cadillac tax is interesting, while i have a pretty good employer based policy

the annual cost or total is WELL over the $10,000 threshold.

Due to my age there is hardly a plan that doesnt go over that. Lots of non rich will be affected by this with that threshold.

But I dont think we have to worry about something that will happen in 2018, we arent going to last that long, surely our economy wont.

Deal with global warming. Obviously some of their puppets privately accept the science of climate change and overpopulation. Radically increasing the death rate by tossing Obamacare and privatizing Medicare and Social Security so there's fewer old people to worry about. By the maybe a year has passed, job losses, starting with healthcare professionals and support staff and spiraling down as they further cut down the government, from ould exceed Bush2's 700,00 a month. There goes housing and we're smack dab in a depression with no government support whatsoever.
