...calling it a fascist isn't labeling. It's speaking the truth.

But thank you for taking the time to prove my point about you not having class.

You're a typical Trump supporter who has no response beyond shitty attacks. Enjoy your stay, though. You'll be gone soon enough.

First post was "What will you miss? Be specific" said in a condescending manner. I figured it was a troll. Didn't see the others, I wish I knew what he/she/it said to me. I don't remember the name but the person signed up just days ago. I saw they had a journal, something about Hillary maybe running for NYC Mayor "can't believe this isn't on DU".

That's what it's come to with these people(?) ~ they are so predictable. They don't think anyone notices that their responses are all ditto quotes from their masters. They're told what to think and what to say and they never vary from the script no matter how many facts are put forth.

Obama to open post-presidency office in World Wildlife Fund headquarters

snip//

While much of Obama’s post-White House focus will be based in Chicago, where he is designing his presidential library and will be building out a center that will promote leadership and other public priorities, he will also engage in other activities. One of them will entail supporting the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which will pursue redistricting efforts to boost Democratic candidates across the country.

The World Wildlife Fund headquarters, in Foggy Bottom.

Obama is familiar with the work of his future landlord. The White House appointed WWF president and chief executive Carter Roberts to serve on the president’s Advisory Council on Wildlife Trafficking, an effort aimed at preventing the slaughter of elephants for ivory, in 2013. The group has also praised the Obama administration’s efforts to battle climate change.

Obama will be working in one of the greenest buildings in the nation’s capital as the 251,707-square-foot WWF headquarters has been given the highest sustainability rating from the U.S. Green Building Council. The property features solar panels, recycled building materials, reserved parking for hybrid or electric cars, and one of the largest green roofs in the city.

accept the coming shitstorm. I'm literally sick to my stomach.

I will miss this man immensely.

Intelligent, compassionate, witty, classy.
And, with great dignity, he daily faced the most undignified, blatant obstructionism, racism, bigotry and arrogance of the opposing party.

I will sadly miss his Presidency.

Besides having the same mindset of most of his political beliefs, I appreciate his humor and grace and the immense respect he has for the office of President and the citizens of our country.

I adore the relationship he has with his wife and children. A love and loyalty that he openly and richly shows, always. His praises, respect and devotion to Michelle are more than admirable, they are the ultimate "cool". That is essential.

His humanity and style are things I will always be proud of even when I did desire, at times, for different outcomes of the multitude of challenges he faced figuratively and personally.

Damn. Yeah, I am really having a difficult time accepting that he will not be heading our country anymore.
