As a country we have an interest in this information- especially if he owes money to Foreign Powers...anyone know?
We will never see them as there is no legal way to compel their release.

(115,686 posts)And even it has a lot of exceptions relating to government documents containing private data and agency work product, etc. Trump's (and everyone else's) tax returns are private information generated by individuals, not by the government. There has never been a law requiring presidential candidates or presidents to disclose their tax returns; it's just been customary for about the last 40 years.
