And even it has a lot of exceptions relating to government documents containing private data and agency work product, etc. Trump's (and everyone else's) tax returns are private information generated by individuals, not by the government. There has never been a law requiring presidential candidates or presidents to disclose their tax returns; it's just been customary for about the last 40 years.

this relentlessly and not take evasion or pivoting for an answer. There is no proof that his taxes are even under audit as he claims...he has never produced an audit letter from the IRS.
