Trump, Aug 2015: "Meryl Streep is excellent; shes a fine person, too"

Any actress you love?

Julia Roberts is terrific, and many others. Meryl Streep is excellent; she's a fine person, too. The problem is I'll name three or four or five and then the hundred that I know will be insulted, and I don't mean to insult them.

The extra irony is "I don't mean to insult them". Trump lives to insult. As we now see.

It only applies to people who acknowledge him in some positive way at some point. If they criticize him for any reason at any other time. I would venture a bet that he could change his opinion about the same person at different points in the same interview. I would set it up like this:

R: So celebrity X said that she admired your business sense in marketing yourself and building up such a brand...
DT: Yeah, I know her she is great. Her movies are wonderful.
R: Recently she has had some harsh words about your comments on the boarder wall..
DT: Well what can you expect from a B list actress whose movies aren't selling anymore.
R: She said that staying at your Hotel in New York was one of the best times she had...
DT: Well she has taste. What can you say about one of Hollywood's leading ladies.
R: But she said...

Looks like a SNL skit, but I could certainly see it happening.

Everyone is a wonderful person up until the point they criticize him, then they become the scum of the Earth. This is how a five year old sees the world.

Get over yourself, Donald. A-list celebrities obviously don't give a crap what you think.

Because Trump flip flops 100 times more than any other politician who has ever been accused of the practice of flip floping.

We all know one or two.
As a rule, we wouldn't have them dogs-sit for us, but the deplorables decided he would make a good President.
That is why I hold them responsible.
