She could have been tougher on Rinse Previous.
Mostly straight news.
Her history of Faux news is troubling.

(6,551 posts)I couldn't watch and I appreciate a fair review.
Let's give her a chance. After 2-3 weeks, we'll have a better perspective on her show. Rachel's positive appeal for Van Susteren counts with me.

(6,551 posts)Highest rated MSNBC show by a mile. In quality, far beyond the other shows although Joy is a close second. She has a great team that finds scoops that no one else does.
The one media individual who exposed the water problems in Flint and virtually led the campaign to get something done.

(53,776 posts)We already know who she is from her years on FOX.
And if she was on FOX just for the money and didn't really believe the right wing crappola she was spewing, that tells us even more about her.
Same with Megan Kelly coming to NBC.
There's a word for that.
MSNBC is no longer our friend. THEY WANT FOX VIEWERS which means they will do anything to get them which means be more like FOX no thanks!

(9,953 posts)...awful. McCain, Rance and the football player? Why not find a Democrat to speak against Sessions - that would be newsworthy. At least she makes Hardball look good in comparison.

(14,167 posts)With NBC/MSNBC news taking several prominent personalities from Faux, we have to assume that they will bring some of their own viewership/fanbase with them to MSNBC/NBC who will (hopefully) be exposed to REAL NEWS.
How nice would it be if Greta's right-wing viewers actually ended up watching Rachel (and learning a thing or two)?
That said, I'm boycotting all TV media, including CNN and MSNBC (or MSRNC as we used to call it when Keith O was the lone voice of reason on the network).
