Robert Kennedy Jr. says he will chair "vaccination safety" committee for Trump...

(updated with better link)

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-meets-with-vaccine-skeptic-robert-kennedy-jr/

President-elect Donald Trump met with Robert Kennedy Jr., a prominent vaccine skeptic, on Tuesday. According to incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer, the two discussed “the issues pertaining to vaccines and immunizations.”

After the meeting concluded, Kennedy told reporters that Mr. Trump had asked him to “chair a commission on vaccination safety and scientific integrity.” Kennedy said he told Mr. Trump he would chair such a commission, and that their meeting was held at Mr. Trump’s request.

Kennedy, the eldest son of liberal icon Sen. Robert Kennedy, was best known as an environmental advocate before increasingly devoting his time to the supposed dangers of vaccines.

Mr. Trump has repeatedly shared his belief that there is a link between vaccines and autism.

Couple of fucking morons.

with Trump about climate change, in the hope that maybe he could have a positive impact. I don't judge him for that at all.

But these anti-vaccine people are crazy.

We know he has no empathy. We know he only cares about himself and things/people that are a reflection of himself. Is it possible those rumors about his son are true? Blame the vaccine so his DNA or actions couldn't possibly be blamed. Skipping of course the science which is they have no idea what causes autism.

It does lend some air of legitimacy to the rumors about Barron. Which if true are quite possibly due to the age Trump was (60) when the child was conceived, and that's not something Trump would ever admit to being the fault of his aging. Which in turn led him to find something else to blame. Thus a new anti-vaxxer was created.

Time to bring those days back again. Watch Trump's supporters line up to sacrifice their children so they can make the libruls mad. A haw-haw-haw!

Every parent/caregiver should know that there can be adverse reactions to vaccinations, and some of these may result in permanent damage. Statistically it is probably much better to have recommended vaccinations than leave ones child unprotected; and it protects all of us from some hideous, damaging diseases.

Kennedy has had his children vaccinated, despite his specific.belief in a link to autism. He is concerned that there is now a profit motive in vaccinating that did not exist decades ago-and that it has influenced research.

I don't know the details for each vaccine and damage associated with it.

If this admin starts supporting the anti-vaxxers and horrible previously extinct diseases outbreak, people may turn on Trump.

I'd hate to see that happen. At the expense of kids.

Crap, we need to board our dogs for the weekend and the kennel won't take them without an "interview" and proof of shots. But kids don't need them to go to school. Maybe we will need to open private schools.
