BuzzFeed publishes what it says is the full 35 page Intelligence dossier,

that CNN reported earlier on today, that was circulating in Congress when Harry Reid made some of his comments demanding that this information be publicly released.

It was this 35 page dossier that provided the base for the 2 page summary that Obama and DT were given last week.

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/313683-trump-told-of-unsubstantiated-russian-effort-to-compromise-him

The FBI is reportedly investigating the credibility of the allegations — but officials told The Washington Post that the intelligence community believed that the sources involved were solid enough to warrant the inclusion of some of the claims as an addition onto the classified version of its report into Russian interference in the election.

http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/01/donald-trump-intelligence-report-russia

The claims, based in part on memos compiled by a former British intelligence officer who primarily received the information from Russian sources, include allegations that there was a “a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government,” CNN reports.

Sources told CNN that it was these same allegations that were included in classified briefings given to members of Congress last year, and which prompted Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid to pen a fiery letter to Comey in the weeks before the presidential election, deriding his agency’s decision to release information about the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal, but not the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia.

Shortly after CNN published its report, BuzzFeed News published the full 35-page dossier reportedly presented in summary form to the incoming and outgoing presidents.

A dossier making explosive — but unverified — allegations that the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” President-elect Donald Trump for years and gained compromising information about him has been circulating among elected officials, intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks.

The dossier, which is a collection of memos written over a period of months, includes specific, unverified, and potentially unverifiable allegations of contact between Trump aides and Russian operatives, and graphic claims of sexual acts documented by the Russians. CNN reported Tuesday that a two-page synopsis of the report was given to President Barack Obama and Trump.

Now BuzzFeed News is publishing the full document so that Americans can make up their own minds about allegations about the president-elect that have circulated at the highest levels of the US government.

SNIP

The documents have circulated for months and acquired a kind of legendary status among journalists, lawmakers, and intelligence officials who have seen them. Mother Jones writer David Corn referred to the documents in a late October column. Harry Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson tweeted Tuesday that the former Senate Democratic leader had seen the documents before writing a public letter to FBI Director James Comey about Trump’s ties to Russia. And CNN reported Tuesday that Arizona Republican John McCain gave a “full copy” of the memos to Comey on Dec. 9, but that the FBI already had copies of many of the memos.

We need to go really slow here. Need to take care we're not being set up with a fake story that can be debunked, thereby immunizing him from the real stories about Russian control.

I can't buy it that T doesn't know about hidden cameras in hotels. He wouldn't do the extreme things that are alleged in a hotel in Russia. He's too sly, in his marginal reality-TV way.

It's supposed to have been compiled by a British intelligence source.

And there's this:

The claims, based in part on memos compiled by a former British intelligence officer who primarily received the information from Russian sources, include allegations that there was a “a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government,” CNN reports.

As another commenter posted, I'm also a former fed and there is a strict format that's followed for "official correspondence" in the Federal Government. This document does not have most of the telltale qualities that I'd expect to see if this really were official.

It would be nice if it were real, but the jury is going to be out for a while on this one.

It's supposed to have been gathered at the request of never Trump members of the GOP, and then McCain handed a copy of it over to Comey after the election. However, per Reid's comments last summer the intelligence community already knew about it back then.

Absolutely NOTHING good can come of this. Yes, it may allow Trump to be impeached, but Pence is any better? He's even more nutters than Trump and a true snake because we know he's a complete nutter. He doesn't even try to play nice or whatever. Now we have Pence AND a crazy antagonistic relationship with Russia?

there is impeachment and there is politics. many things are possible in theory, especially if the people involved put country before party and self. sadly, that trait is sorely lacking among republicans.

best case scenario, both trump and pence take office for a day and resign, either ryan becomes president or a "compromise" candidate is appointed veep in between the resignations and becomes president.

however, this will be a republican. under no imaginable circumstances will they let hillary near the oval office, sadly.

(CNN)Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

The allegations were presented in a two-page synopsis that was appended to a report on Russian interference in the 2016 election. The allegations came, in part, from memos compiled by a former British intelligence operative, whose past work US intelligence officials consider credible. The FBI is investigating the credibility and accuracy of these allegations, which are based primarily on information from Russian sources, but has not confirmed many essential details in the memos about Mr. Trump.

The classified briefings last week were presented by four of the senior-most US intelligence chiefs -- Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers.
One reason the nation's intelligence chiefs took the extraordinary step of including the synopsis in the briefing documents was to make the President-elect aware that such allegationsre involving him are circulating among intelligence agencies, senior members of Congress and other government officials in Washington, multiple sources tell CNN.
These senior intelligence officials also included the synopsis to demonstrate that Russia had compiled information potentially harmful to both political parties, but only released information damaging to Hillary Clinton and Democrats. This synopsis was not an official part of the report from the intelligence community case about Russian hacks, but some officials said it augmented the evidence that Moscow intended to harm Clinton's candidacy and help Trump's, several officials with knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

<>

Sources tell CNN that these same allegations about communications between the Trump campaign and the Russians, mentioned in classified briefings for congressional leaders last year, prompted then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid to send a letter to FBI Director Comey in October, in which he wrote, "It has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government -- a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States."

Moles in the DNC, putting in Trojans to certain members favored porn sites, etc.

Trump is happy for the Russia hack controversy since it distracts from his dealings in China and other South East Asia nations....which kind of makes sense of him pissing off China, scare all the other investors off so he gets in cheap.

His large sexual appetite.

Russia freaking out and actually thought about pulling him out of the race once they realized they may have went too far, but realized it was too late. But didn't think he was going to win....until Comey pulled off his bullshit.

And Russia using him as an intelligence asset for some time now.

If confirmed and substantiated...he's not only going to get kicked out of office...he's toast in his businesses as well. His heirs wont be able to remove his name from everything fast enough.
