Like he said

Donald Trump boasted Saturday that support for his presidential campaign would not decline even if he shot someone in the middle of a crowded street.

Since when has 'golden showers' surpassed murder as an offense?

Looks like trump and his goons have been feeding info to the russians for years.

He has incredibly thin skin, and can't stand people mocking him. Killing someone wouldn't be a blow to his ego. But I imagine that knowing #PEEOTUS is trending in twitter is a substantial blow to his ego.

I'm not jumping on this one yet. Problem is, some of this can't easily be verified.

I'll wait, however, for one of the Senators who supposedly received this to verify it is the document he received.

Watch out for Russian disinfo to distract from what they really did. The golden shower thing is exactly what they would plant to make everyone talk about that instead of financial blackmail or whatever the real deal is.

There are some very serious allegations, some of which bear out earlier reports from elsewhere, contained in the document.

Inevitably people are already laughing it up on Twitter (which, even if the showers thing is never proven, will needle Trump more than almost anything, so that's fine by me - he's more likely to make some serious mistakes), but the longer-term focus needs to be - and judging by the media coverage so far, will be - on the whole picture of covert Russian influence and the potential for blackmail.

*BIG* negative on that one. I want a special prosecutor right fucking now.

Nothing like a small thread to pull away at the whole fabric. Just ask Hillary Clinton. Or Barack Obama's birth certificate.

I want CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATIONS!!! These golden showers were reportedly filmed by RUSSIA. Did Melania participate in this? Is she GOING AFTER THE PISSERS???

I mean HRC didn't go after any of Bill's accusers, but when did that stop them?

If it's a false document, Obama and other high-level officials will speak up!

It's not at all like the CBS situation, with just a few people involved in the document that was later revealed to be fake.

Rather than taking time to wait for facts. For example after all of the to do over the Russian malware found on a Vermont utility computer, it turned out that the suspicious network traffic was related to using Yahoo email which triggered an alert.

But the specific malware on the computer was found to be associated with general criminal malware not Russian malware. Lots of people ended up looking very foolish on that one.
