Trump's Wall and New Ambassadors, Why the Rush? Maybe the Russian Mob needs them.
Trump is so eager to get started on that wall that he is going to break a promise he made to his base during the election. He is going to have the federal government pay for it. Why? Why out of all the campaign promises he made is he so willing to break this one almost immediately in order to build a stupid wall between us and Mexico?
And why is he so damned insistent that all of our current ambassadors retire now so that he can get his own ambassadors in place asap?
What does the Mexican Wall have in common with US Ambassadors? Answer, if you control them, you can control the flow of lots of illegal goods and money into and out of the United States.
Most of the heroin that enters this country does so from Mexico (even though most of the world's heroin comes from Afghanistan and Asia). If Putin (by way of Trump) controls who gets to cross the wall, then Putin and his Russian Mob allies gain control of the heroin trade in the US. They can set prices, drive out competitors. And if Putin has the power to tell Trump's ambassadors what they will carry in their diplomatic pouches and which foreign laws they will break under their shield of diplomatic immunity, then transferring money, diamonds, drugs, weapons, biologic weapons, nuclear weapons and almost anything else into and out of the United States will be a piece of cake.
I have no preferences when it comes to the world's various organized crime families, however it seems to me that Trump and Putin are titling things way towards the Russians, meaning that we may soon witness a huge mob war. And, with Trump in Putin's pocket, we may find our soldiers called upon to defend the economic interests of the Russian mob around the world. Oh fun. What is worse than being used as a mercenary force to defend the economic interests of American companies? Being a mercenary force for the Russian mob. Your heroic sacrifice will not even lead to economic prosperity back home, since all the money will go to Russia.
