I PREDICTED it, he GOT him: Lee Effing "God Bless The USA" Greenwood to perform @ Trump inauguration

Lee Greenwood to perform at concert for Donald Trump's inauguration
CNN
1:26 PM, Jan 12, 2017

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- President-elect Donald Trump's inaugural committee has landed another performer. Country musician Lee Greenwood, best known for his song "God Bless the USA," has signed on to play the "Make America Great Again!" welcome celebration on January 19, one day before Trump is sworn in to office, sources with knowledge of the situation told CNNMoney.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee has previously announced three other acts for the celebrations surrounding the inaugural: The Radio City Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and 16-year-old "America's Got Talent" star Jackie Evancho.

An insider told CNNMoney that Trump's inauguration committee held several meetings with talent executives in D.C. after Christmas in an effort to secure additional performers. And one of the sources source said "major announcements" regarding the lineup could come as soon as this week.

A spokesperson for the Presidential Inaugural Committee declined to comment.

I had to look this up too, because I don't listen to country either.

He's had seven Number 1 country singles and one Number 1 country album...and, strangely enough, God Bless the USA wasn't one of them. The highest it ever went was Number 7.

...but I avoid the Greenwood and Hank Jr variety (as well as "bro country&quot like the plague.

I'm more of a traditionalist, but like a handful of modern performers like Zac Brown, a guy who has refused to wear a "label."

with that being said I do know the song. I feel I've heard it a million times in commercials. Trashpot is FUMING that he has no A list acts...heehhehehehehe Next time a right winger says some bullshit about Hollywood remind them that they should practice what they're preaching and never watch another TV show or Movie again.

expect him to headline at a trump property near you

re establish himself as the a list commodity for conservative and gop controlled events

he should make some good coin out of this

i would not walk across the street to see him
but then again i am hardly his target audience
