It could be given today with almost no changes and would still be as powerful. Virtually every single word would apply today.

For me it is the best speech ever.

The Wednesday night vote on repealing the ACA. Each Dem senator gave a voice vote with a comment about why they were voting no. Some comments were very short. Some were longer and LOUDER. Each was interrupted by the chair for being "against the rules". I kept thinking to myself - Dammit I wish Teddy "The Lion" was there.
