TV show Black-ish take on the election was brilliant

I thought they did a wonderful take on the election.

Made some good points.

2. Yes. it was indeed brilliant.

I was a little disappointed when they did not mention the 2012 American Jobs Act in response to the Trump voter who said it was about the economy and job loss. POTUS wanted a trillion dollar package but couldn't get one but Twitler will be able to get one.

Cutting and suspending $245 billion worth of payroll taxes for qualifying employers and 160 million medium to low income employees.

$49 billion - Extending unemployment benefits for up to 6 million long-term beneficiaries.
$8 billion - Jobs tax credit for the long term unemployed.
$5 billion - Pathways back to work fund.[15]
Spending $50 billion on both new & pre-existing infrastructure projects.
Spending $35 billion in additional funding to protect the jobs of teachers, police officers, and firefighters
Spending $30 billion to modernize at least 35,000 public schools and community colleges.
Spending $15 billion on a program that would hire construction workers to help rehabilitate and refurbishing hundreds of thousands of foreclosed homes and businesses.
Creating the National Infrastructure Bank (capitalized with $10 billion), originally proposed in 2007, to help fund infrastructure via private and public capital.
Creating a nationwide, interoperable wireless network for public safety, while expanding accessibility to high-speed wireless services.
Prohibiting discrimination in hiring against persons who are unemployed because of their status as unemployed persons..
Loosening regulations on small businesses that wish to raise capital, including through crowdfunding, while retaining investor protections.
In total the legislation includes $253 billion in tax credits (56.6%) and $194 billion in spending and extension of unemployment benefits (43.4%).[15]

But last nights show was special for sure. The one they did pre-election was on point too.

4. yes I watch it all the time. Some of the best TV and always has good points to think on . I actually

know someone who told me their work office was like that (minus the trump voter) for a month..... swinging from lethargic to enraged every day by election results then all the trump crazy stuff and not getting projects done . Deep funk,

Also how in the background the son and granddad were working on his speech and at the end it was really their MLK Day episode with hope.

Taking The Stage Black Arts is on right now where I live on ABC same channel as Blackish. A very good special. They are doing a lot of tributes and Obama is in the audience .

5. It was really good! They brilliantly captured

the punch in the gut feeling we ALL had, the checked-out zombie state we were in, the grieving. And the staff meeting arguments were a mirror image of every facebook argument I had. There were some brilliant subtleties, too. There was a knowing, woman to woman look about the horror of Trump between the two women in the meeting room.
