Trump people didn't order inauguration plates

I know this isn't a scandal, nor is it important, but it is a big deal for some. People collect them, and they've been a tradition for about 80 years.

Read the short article via Jalopnik and figure out why they opted out. I think it may be a sign of just how uncoordinated his transition staff is. It probably wasn't anyone's job to order them

When president-elect Donald Trump begins his inauguration parade on Jan. 20, the world of license-plate collection will meet a sad (Sad!) fate for the first time since the late 1920s: it looks like Trump will be the first president since Herbert Hoover to decline the production of special plates for his inauguration.

Maybe the plate design didn’t have enough gold on it? Heck, that would make these plates more expensive than some of the ones that the Wall Street Journal reports sell for up to $12,000. Money talks, Donald! You could donate it to the Treasury.

They benefited the Illinois Library Association. Herr Drumpf has probably never been in a library.
