Trump moves forward with a foreign deal less than a week after vowing not to

A multi-million dollar expansion of President-elect Donald Trump’s golf resort in Scotland is reportedly underway — less than a week after Trump’s attorney told reporters that the president-elect had, in an effort to distance himself from conflicts of interests with regards to his businesses, “ordered that all pending deals be terminated.”

According to the Guardian, which first reported the story on Sunday, the Trump Organization is moving forward with a plan to greatly expand the president-elect’s Trump International Golf Course Scotland, located in Aberdeenshire. The plans include construction of another 18-hole golf course, a new 450-room five-star hotel, a timeshare complex, and a private housing estate. The expansion would greatly increase the value of the property to the Trump Organization, according to the Guardian’s report.

A spokesperson for the Trump Organization told the Guardian that “implementing future phasing of existing properties does not constitute a new transaction” and therefore the Trump Organization plans to proceed with the deal, despite Trump’s assertion that he would no longer pursue foreign investments relating to his company.

No act of collusion or subterfuge is beyond him. Every dirty trick, every mis-direction and every obnoxious behavior surpasses the previous one.

It's obvious now that being "elected" president has emboldened this sociopath to the point that he sees himself as invincible and not answerable or accountable to anyone or any law. This loose cannon will sink the ship if allowed to.

We may all be Lilliputians in his eyes, but just like they did, it is our legal and moral right to tie him up in legal knots where his powers are neutralized.

along with millions of other Americans. I shall teach, preach, and practice the Golden rule. I shall resist and oppose unbridled capitalism that values the acquisition of money at any cost over being of benefit to ALL people. I shall oppose Republican criminals, traitors to the best of my ability. I shall endeavor to herald a revival of American values. We are a nation of immigrants, where all men and women are equal before the law. We are a nation of religious tolerance, where we are free to practice, or not practice, a spiritual path as we choose.

That's how I plan to deal with it. How about you?
