What would we expect to find in Donald Trump's tax returns?

He has lied and cheated on his taxes for probably the last thirty years.

Why would we assume that any information on his tax returns would be factual?

Why would we assume that the information would even be on his tax returns?

We assume that he would list all his business ventures for the IRS?

Why would we assume that he would be honest with his tax returns when he has been dishonest at everything else he has ever done in his life?

Not murder, conspiracy, illegal transport of alcohol, etc.

Why would Trump admit to illegal business on a government document?

We know he would want to deduct his interest payment to all lenders in order to claim the deductions.

hopefully w dogged investigation, serious tax fraud would be revealed.

we know he does his best to cheat, which is why he is audited all the time.
(not that i believe his excuse that they are under audit. he has plenty of settled returns he could show.)

it would be most enjoyable to get our hands on the returns as submitted v what he settled w the irs for.
but i would settle for the final versions, if i had to.

The IRS at the best can only go over his taxes with fine tooth comb and make sure nothing is illegal. Since Trump hasn't been arrested for tax fraud or evasion, he is probably using a bunch of legal loopholes so he doesn't have to pay taxes.

His taxes will probably establish connections to foreign governments. I assume that as a private citizen most of the connections were legal. However, as an elected official, they would be considered a conflict of interest.
