If he didn't need to before the election, why should he now? The people who voted for him don't care about his tax returns and he's not going to comply with the demands of those who didn't vote for him in November and won't be voting for him in 2020.

I suppose Congress could pass a law required presidential candidates to release tax returns but that's about it. And if they do, it'll only apply from here on out.
