They love to brag how much they support the troops and Trump has a great deal of support in the military community. In fact one of their songs has become something of an anthem for military personnel being deployed.

Like clockwork, whenever ships were deployed from the naval base I used to live near, the radio stations would get flooded with requests for the song "When I'm Gone".

Also their popularity has waned and this is a way to get back in the spotlight.
