Incredible feeling seeing so many t-shirts and pink pussy hats. Strangers ( men and women both) thanking us for coming..feeling such solidarity!

(2,573 posts)who is not going to a march I urge you to be a keyboard warrior that day. Start tweeting - cause a ruckus on Facebook - message boards.....send emails...do your keyboard warrior protest. We all need to do what we can...what we are able, when we are able and together WE ARE GOING TO KICK SOME TRUMPASS.

(377 posts)Joined a March last night. Stayed away today. Will find my way to the city tomorrow, looking for any protest group to join, plan to be at the parade, skipping the inauguration , the speech will make me puke.
Then the Women's March. Every random person I have talked to is going to the march.

(4,112 posts)We were going to Santa Fe, but the snow & rains changes our plans. We may meet rain in Las Cruces, but not nearly so much snow on the road coming or going. I am sick for today and in mourning as I have been since the Pretender...but am jazzed about tomorrow and look forward to seeing how many here, there and everywhere....especially DU's 'recaps'!

(10,749 posts)More will show up tomorrow than those who turned out for today's funereal event.
And of those who protest tomorrow in D.C., and in hundreds of other cities around the world, you represent millions more who couldn't make it.
BTW, my wife arrived in DC last night, found parking on Capitol Hill less than a block from my son's apartment. And there was more parking available this morning. Tonight and tomorrow, I'm guessing, not so much.

(11,563 posts)I guess I should have been more prepared for that, but I expected the overall mood would be mostly split between anger and grief. I'm glad there is such esprit de corps; had I not learned that, I would have said you have both a stiffer spine and stronger stomach than I.

(10,749 posts)Told me pink hats were in abundance today around eastern market on Capitol Hill.
