"If the Feds have to cuff Trump on the inauguration stand, it'll be really awkward for everyone."

That's a very slight paraphrase (to fit subject line limits) of TPM editor Josh Marshall tweeting minutes ago:

If the Feds have to cuff Trump up on the inauguration stand, it's going to be really awkward for everyone.

As you can see from the comments, people like that scenario...

Otherwise, it's crafting all day, listening to the Food Network on the TV in the other room. I don't have a TV in my craft room. So I'll be working on projects that feed my little hot-glue-gun-hoisting soul. My best friend, who is a longtime GOP voter, called me this evening, terrified. She plans to spend her day tomorrow watching the house-flipping shows on HGTV. Even she can't bear to watch. My husband's probably gonna be playing video games. He doesn't want to watch, either. And, as he just reminded me about an hour ago, "we also have iPod!" Probably means binge-watching all things "Star Trek" much of the day, too!

still has his private security force. Would the Feds have to fight their way through these people on the inauguration stand?

I actually had a hopeful moment tonight when I heard the breaking news about the investigation. It crossed my mind that they planned it this way so tRump could be stopped just before being given the oath. If I was a praying person, I'd be up all night praying for this to happen. Oh, to be a fly on the wall to see his smug, orange face when it hits him that he won't be POTUS. For THAT, I'd pay.
