Annoying as hell, sound off is likely the way to go. But the lack of crowds is mind boggling. Al Roker did the weather at what looked to be just off the mall (forget the street name - Constitution?) Anyway it was a crowd you would expect to see on any day. Then Katy Tur was actually on the mall trying to sell the "sea of Red Hats," people were far from packed in.
