Trump Is In Violation Of His Oath Of Office. He Didn't Divest. He Must Be Impeached.

The Emoluments Clause is cut and dry no matter how hard Trump and his Flying Monkeys want to muddy the waters.

He must be impeached and removed from office.

He had a choice and decided not to follow the law.

He wont be impeached for the right reasons because his party doesnt care about the law, the people, etc.

When they see a chance to take him out they will because Mike Pence is a dream president if you want to reverse all progress of the past 70 years.

They bashed Trump but look at them crawling all over each other to get close to the administration.

They probably want an impeachment. Theocracy at last!

that NO laws, ethics rules or constitution apply to SHitler. NONE.

And they won't be enforced. If he wasn't Republican, male, white, that would be VERY DIFFERENT. But as is, he's PRIVILEGED and does what he damn pleases.

People are exceedingly stupid when they choose to exempt certain persons - especially THIS one - from all laws, rules and constitutions. Because they're essentially enabling a DICTATOR. THIS is how that begins. THIS is how minority rule is forced upon the majority in fascistic society.

We are here NOW.

It says he's in violation only if he doesn't have the consent of the Congress. It sure looks to me as if he has the consent of the Congress. What, exactly, makes you think this particular Congress is ever going to require him to divest?

I have hopes that he may be impeached, but he is going to have to actually do something egregious to have it happen. Something overt, and preferably something that pisses off the religious right.

Odds are good he's going to. But this petty shit isn't going to work. The Republicans control congress, meaning they control impeachment proceedings. Ain't gonna happen until they can't use him any more, and they prefer president Pence.

"We're impeaching Donald Trump because he passed Top Secret information to Russian Intelligence" is MUCH more satisfying than "we're impeaching Donald Trump because the South Korean Ambassador bought an order of Hipster Fries at Trump's hotel."

Now, if you REALLY want something to impeach the cocksucker over, go to https://www.trumphotels.com/uploads/11387/0/food_11.20.16.pdf and check the prices. He is selling a product called the "Trump tower." A Trump tower consists of a 1 lb lobster, 8 oysters, 4 clams, 4 shrimp, a blue crab cocktail, cocktail sauce, mignonette (it is a sauce) and Old Bay aioli. It costs $120. If we can't impeach the bastard for trading with the enemy, espionage, stock market manipulation, failure to maintain presidential records (his twitter account), perjury, tax evasion, or being too fucking ugly to be president, we should at least be able to hang him by his teeny little balls for price-gouging.

He only had a couple of months. Anyway, he is in debt on everything. You can't divest debt.
