(284 posts)Immigrant labor - documented or not - made Reagan's policies - and the current economy - possible. Stagnant wages, disappearing social safety net, outsourcing, attacks on labor and social services ... the people doing the hard labor no one else will take... or working for bosses operating illegally... Reaganomics fed off the flood of people escaping what his policies did to South and Central America, Mexico... and they used it for PR to deflect attention from NAFTA. "Moderate," feh.
