i think that's the catch-phrase we have to tie to him.
any criticism or outrage usually falls on deaf ears, oh that's just liberal, anti-trump, blah blah blah.
saying something's racist or sexist or terrible or deplorable -- whatever, they just don't care about such criticism.
but if we can illustrate how he's actually (a) harming *them* and (b) violating their *trust*, then i think we've got a chance of getting through to them.
so, it starts with donnie's first act, keeping his voters' fha mortgage insurance premiums high.
way to betray the people who voted for you, donnie!

(82,849 posts)I make a Facebook post every week or so reminding Trump supporters of a specific promise their hero made during the campaign, and how he welched on that promise. I'm pretty sure I won't be running out of material for the duration of his term (however long or short that is).
The good thing about it is that by using Trump's own promise, coupling that with the idea of "Is this why you voted for him", and then showing that they got suckered, there's really no room for argument. If Trump's supporters want to say his latest broken promise isn't all that important, how can they tell that another of his promises they think is important won't meet the same fate?
