I believe I saw the Green Mountain Boys' flag in yesterdays' protests

And by "protests" I mean the violent part...riot if you prefer.

Anyway, if you're not familiar, this is the flag:

And this is what it's from:

Being a huge fan of Vermont and having been there a lot, I believe that this flag operates as kind of a unofficial state flag. It sure beats the boring one with the seal. I know that it also serves as the flag for the independence movement, The Second Vermont Republic:

I don't have much hope for such a movement but I know that there's something similar in the Pacific Northwest:

Anyway, while I don't support any of the damage to property done yesterday, I admit to a sense of pride seeing the Green Mountain Boys' flag in the thick of it. Anyone else catch this? Was it part of the secessionist movement? I own one of these flags myself and might start flying it today. It will be a real social experiment as I live in a row of 4 twins that look almost identical, in the middle of a small town in PA. IE, ignorant people might egg (or worse) my house. I guess we'll see.

Is it still possible to post pictures and videos or has that been disabled? Yes, I looked already. TIA!
