So, it was crowded. Not the promised weather (but not Obama 2009 cold). The energy was good if a bit low key (where I was). Ashley Judd, America Ferrara and Murial Bowser (DC Mayor) got rousing receptions (I moved away after that and it was harder to hear--though Michael Moore got the crowd pumped too). Madonna was there (I missed that, I was busy marching in the then unofficial march).
I spoke to a writer from Mic magazine on the Metro, he had covered the inauguration and was covering today's march. He said when he got on the train yesterday, he had no trouble finding a seat. Today I could probably tell you which side he "dressed" on the train was so packed. Overall, I hope the energy, the anger, the motivation carries over the next two years. Had a conversation with some youngster's and stressed the importance of mid-term and local elections and if we really want to make a difference, we need to GOTV in 2 years. They were receptive.

These crowds - your photos - give me hope again that we will remember to make a difference in 2018!
