The New York Times:WASHINGTON President Trump used his first full day in office on Saturday to unleash a remarkably bitter attack on the news media, falsely accusing journalists of both inventing a rift between him and intelligence agencies and deliberately understating the size of his inauguration crowd.
But the media is still "in the tank" for Trump, right?

(10,129 posts)It's become clear that the GropenFuhrer has essentially declared war on the media. Beginning with the "meeting" in Trump Tower after the election, then the verbal assault on the CNN reporter a week or two ago, and now today's little meltdown. I'm figuring that there must still be at least a handful of journalists in this country who will give him the pushback his tirades and prevarication deserve. But, as we all know, starting with the Idiot-Son's regime, so many of our so-called journalists abdicated their responsibility to challenge the power structure, in order to maintain access to those who weilded the power. We shall see.
