It's Sunday morning after the Inauguration and Trump desperately wants out.

He wants to leave the White House and go to Mar-a-Lago or Trump Tower. The White House is a "dump" and he's seen enough. He hates the fact that he has to stay there. (If only he could be president from Trump Tower . . . . ) He hates the fact that he's an employee. He has to work on others' terms and schedules. He's counting the days until he resigns or is impeached. He signed up to "win", not be president.

If he goes we get Orrin Hatch, then Tillerson (if confirmed), followed by the other flying-monkey cabinet members. The succession is: Speaker of the House, President pro tem of the Senate, and the cabinet, beginning with the Secretary of State. There's not much to hope for.

Kellyanne Conway, does she ever come up for air for a breath? I listened to her this morning, what a master of deflection. I do have to admit though, she is exceptionally good at that and exceptionally smart. ... wish she was on our side.

I'm sure they're scheming something for pence to stay and him go to NY for the business of the country blah blah.

I see impeachment as an improvement if and only if pence rids us of bannon and Conway. Less likely on the latter I think.

Putin will tell the oligarchs to forgive the debt.

Then Putin will threaten Дональда Джона Трампа (tRump) with the evidence gathered over the years (tapes, bank statements, etc.) and tRump will resign to prevent it coming out.

Pence will take over, but he is an unknown quantity for Putin. Putin is playing a risky game.

I mean to me, he looked really concerned when he found out he won.

Sadly he got out there and looked around and found out the right things to say to get people to vote for him.

However to really make most of the payoff to those people he is going to have to join with democrats against his own party.

A lot of the people who voted for him want good jobs and a sense of security without having to leave the area that they love or grew up in.

However the trend is opposite of the 70's 80's where everything was moving out of the urban areas. Now we are seeing a big concentration of jobs, population and wealth in the cities.

To bring jobs back to the areas that are hurting is going to be hard. Not only will you have to spend shit tons of money on improving internet service and transportation, you are going to actually have to get younger people to move back, you can't get things going with a few young people, average age in the 50's and a bunch or retired people. Also you either are going to have to educate or move back people there who can start their own businesses, because it will be hard to get factories going again.

His supporters are angry and I'm sure he knows that anger could be turned toward him at the slightest fuck up.

Except I think impeachment or resignation would bruise his ego. I believe he will hand off as much of the job as possible to other people. He wants to hire, fire, and tweet. All the rest is just dreary stuff he will try to avoid. For policy, I think the people around him will be much more important than he is. They can earn his trust by showing they have good comeback lines when something fails or are good at creating distractions when policies are particularly repulsive. Navigating around Trump's massive, fragile ego will always be a primary concern.
