The women’s march in Washington, D.C. on Saturday drew triple the number of people who attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration the day before, according to crowd experts Marcel Altenburg and Keith Still from Metropolitan University in the U.K. They estimate that, based on available photos and videos, around 160,000 people were on the National Mall during the inauguration. Altenburg and Still added that the women’s march drew 470,000 people on the Mall.

You know that it is killing Trump inside that the women's march was more popular than him! And, I love that fact. Let's not slow down!

4. The problem with that estimate is that it didn't count all the people who couldn't get to the Mall!

We were stuck in some area off Independence Ave. behind the Smithsonian with hundreds of thousands who were gridlocked. There were speakers and a jumbo-tron but all we could see were the backs of people's heads. There was no way to get through because of the mobs. It would be cool if there were drone photos of the side areas as well as the Mall. The Metro was packed like sardines because some stations would close temporarily due to the crowds. It was just wall-to-wall people.

Also... It wasn't about having a competition with drumpf about who could bring out the larger crowds, although I am happy that this annoys him.

9. There were tales going through the crowd that a woman went into labor, so +1.

Don't know if it was true, but we did see an ambulance on or near Independence Ave. The driver was bellowing, "MOVE" at the crowd, who were trying to get out of the way, but there was no where to move!
